Kamala wrestles with Diabetes

Kamala, one of the most underrated big men in WWF history, recently spoke to News Channel 3 in Memphis. Kamala discussed working with the Undertaker at WrestleMania, being paid $13,000 dollars, while the Undertaker received upwards of $500,000.

Kamala  (Jim Harris) also discussed his battle with diabetes and having his left leg amputated. He hasn’t let his spirit die however. "I had a few times that I shed a few tears about it, but i never questioned God," states the Uganda Giant. "I am Kamala. I'm alive and well."

Mark Henry being Buried!

Speculation since Mark Henry lost the title after tearing through the Smackdown roster, that he was injured and unable to physically compete. He then saw very limited action and was usually on the losing end. Henry played a very limited role in the Royal Rumble triple threat cage match with Daniel Bryan and the Big Show.
Other reports were that Vince McMahon himself was not happy with Mark Henry’s unwillingness to work through the injuries which has resulted in a de-push, while other rumors have Henry wanting out of the WWE after his contract expires this year. Henry has been with WWE for well over 15 years, and many felt that it was his time to hang up the boots.
Henry took to twitter to discuss the rumored injuries…

Hulk Hogan sex tape leaks online!

A sex tape of “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan has made its way to the internet. Hogan doesn’t deny its authenticity, however, he states that he did not consent to the making of the film. According to TMZ, Hogan is getting dressed while a naked woman is laying in bed next to him.

The sex tape is being shopped around for distribution, however, representatives for Hulk state that “[he] is appalled at the unauthorized release of a secretly filmed video.” Hogan apparently doesn’t even know who the naked woman is. He called into TMZ Live to say that, between the time he divorced Linda and met his current wife Jennifer, he went on a four-month-long binge of drinking and sexual escapades. "During that time, I don't even remember people's names, much less girls."

The Greatest of All Time

Some moments are etched in wrestling history. For me, two of the most memorable moments are Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant at WrestleMania III and Hulk Hogan vs. The Ultimate Warrior at WrestleMania VI. The Rock versus John Cena this year will be one of those moments.  Too many are concerned with the “build” of the feud but the thing that will matter is when they are face to face on the “Grandest Stage of All.” What would it have been like if we had to sit week after week of Hogan and Andre cutting promos on each other? Indeed it was a different age of wrestling. The characters sold the storyline and not the other way around.

What the Funk? Brodus Clay Missing Part II

Brodus Clay is apparently missing in action again. Clay debuted on Raw after several stalled and delayed returns that lasted well into the New Year with an unbelievable Funkasaurus gimmick. I predicted that he would return as a monster heel and destroy everyone in sight, however, I quickly hopped on team Funkasaurus when I saw Clay’s personality shine through. And the added plus of having Naomi back on TV.

Clay has been off TV for some weeks now and it might appear that the Funkasaurus has quickly become extinct. There have been varying rumors that Vince McMahon felt that Brodus Clay was “too green” in the ring and pulled him from TV, even having one of his matches edited out of Smackdown.  I don’t personally buy this one as Clay had plenty of time to be evaluated in FCW, NXT, and as Alberto Del Rio’s lackey on Raw. Another rumor was that he was too unsafe in the ring to work with. Clay vaguely addressed the rumors on twitter.

Chris Brown responds to CM Punk

CM Punk takes to Twitter to try to gain some measure of mainstream publicity by attacking Chris Brown’s and his 8 MILLION plus followers, over something that’s happened years ago (Chris Brown’s pre-Grammy attack on Rihanna). Chris Brown took the bait however, and entertained Punk by engaging in the Twitter beef. It’s interesting that Punk would “claim” to be standing up for women when he’s rumored to be quite the womanizer himself.
